(DE) 1996 bin ich durch Zufall in ein Sinti und Roma Treffen in Südfrankreich geraten und wurde dort vom Klang der Flamencogitarre so beeindruckt, dass ich sofort wusste, dass ich diese Kunstform erlernen muss. Entstanden ist darauf hin, 20 Jahre später, dieses Album. Die Themen der Stücke komponierte ich auf Reisen, im Alltag, in tiefster Trauer, während wunderschöner Momente, inmitten meines chaotischen Lebens.

(ES) En 1996 me encontré por casualidad en una reunión de Sinti y Roma en el sur de Francia. Allí me sentí inundado por el sonido de la guitarra flamenca y de inmediato supe que tenía que aprender este arte. 20 años más tarde, surge este álbum. Todos los temas de las piezas provienen de las experiencias vividas en el día a día y mis viajes, de esos momentos tristes y maravillosos de mi caótica vida.

(EN) In 1996 I stumbled upon a gathering of Sinti and Roma playing flamenco guitar in the South of France. I was so impressed by the sound of the flamenco guitar, that I instantly knew, that I had to learn this art for myself. Twenty years later, this album is the result of that encounter. The themes of these compositions were created on journeys, during everyday life, in deepest grief,in beautiful moments – in the midst of my chaotic life.
